Growing up in Alaska, with three sisters, I played outdoors as there were no gyms. In school I played baseball, basketball and wrestled. I realized at an early age my passion for sports and fitness. In the late 1980's I moved to the lower "48", and became an Electrician in Portland Oregon. It was at this time I discovered health clubs. I became fascinated by the health and fitness industry. The healthier I got, the more I wanted to learn. I've educated myself through reading countless books and magazines. In 2001 I entered The Body-for-Life challenge, a 12 week body transformation competition, and the results were unbelievable! This showed me the value of goal setting, discipline and motivation.
After 16 years as an Electrician, I've decided to follow that passion. After more than 20 natural bodybuilding competitions later, I am more driven than ever to help people attain their goals, whatever they may be. They way I see it; everyone should reap the benefits of exercise.
Living here in Bend for the past six years, I've enjoyed staying active in the beautiful outdoors by mountain biking, hiking & camping.
I truly love the physical & emotional benefits I get from living a healthy lifestyle.
